Holy Spirit Temporary Parking Plans

1. Please be patient, courteous and smile as we work together through this temporary new parking lot construction challenge over the next few weeks.

2. We are now using the New Entrance and drive way on the east side of the property, across from the Wynlakes entrance.

5. We recommend you use the new drop off zones on the new east side driveway by the meditation garden and the playground area.  Drop-off passengers, then proceed to the back (south) parking area.  Park and then walk back to the drop-off points for entrance to the Church. Please drive slowly and safely.  Please be especially watchful of small children, seniors and the handicapped who may be entering or exiting this area.

3. Our advice is that you plan on getting to Mass at least 10-15 minutes earlier than normal.

4. Please do not park on the driveway until the back parking lot is completely full.  If we park where there is not striping we will create problems because of incoming traffic and pedestrians walking back to the Church.

5. The current Church main entrance doors will be closed during construction so 4 alternative Church entrances will be available.  These 4 are 1) through the parish hall emergency exit by the playground, 2) the parish hall vestibule doors, through the meditation garden you may enter the Church through the 3) gallery doors or 4) through the Church side doors by the fountain.

7. Since all traffic will be using the new driveway, it will be “one-way-in” before Mass and “one-way-out” after Mass.

8. As is obvious, we will need a lot of help in the way of volunteers to help us through these weeks of construction of our new parking areas.  Please consider volunteering to be a part of our new Parking Ministry team.

Notes for diagram on back below:

1. Areas in pink will not be available for parking during demolition of old parking and construction of new parking areas.

2. Areas in light gray - drive way and new parking area in rear (south) of property, will be available.

3. Drop off areas noted below in red.  Walk ways are noted in blue to the 4 entrances noted above.

4. Please note arrows <- on drive way - this indicates direction cars should be parked “if parked” on driveway as last resort - "one-way-out" direction.

5. Please note that the design of the newest parking area available (gray - south) is designed mainly for use by future school parents dropping off and picking up, so the design of the access drive openings seems unusual for regular church parking.
