Gospel

A leper came to Jesus and kneeling down begged him and said, "If you wish, you can make me clean." Moved with pity, he stretched out his hand,  touched him, and said to him, "I do will it. Be made clean." The leprosy left him immediately, and he was made clean. Then, warning the him sternly, he dismissed him at once.

He said to him, "See that you tell no one anything, but go, show yourself to the priest and offer for your cleansing what Moses prescribed; that will be proof for them."

The man went away and began to publicize the whole matter. He spread the report abroad so that it was impossible for Jesus to enter a town openly. He remained outside in deserted places, and people kept coming to him from everywhere.

Parking Update - Monday 2/6
  • It was a struggle, but we made it through the first weekend of our Temporary Parking Plan.  Congratulations!
  • The entrance for parking for Mass, Church Office and meetings is NOW on the east side of the property using the New Entrance.
  • For mass, if the front parking area is full, please proceed to the drop-off points, drop off your passengers and then proceed to park in the new back (south) parking area. Then walk back along the drive to the drop-off area yourself.
  • There are 2 drop-off/walk-over points to the Church.  One is at the Meditation Garden and the other is past the playground area.
  • This drive way / walking area was covered with mud. Please wear shoes appropriately. (There was a small team of parishioners working to clean some of it up on Saturday, thanks Brian, Brett, Nap and Harold)
  • There is no good way for handicapped persons to walk with walkers or roll in with wheelchairs this weekend.  There are "Handicapped/Seniors Only" Signs near the second drop-off point.
  • The old driveway is now completely gone, see photos below.  If you need to get to the office, currently you can park in the new front parking section and walk across a sea of mud or park farther down the drive by the 2nd drop off zone, walk all the way behind the Church and cross the old drive way.  It is less muddy that way - this is as of late Monday 2/6.  I would advise you to call the office (277-5631) and if need be have someone meet you in the Church building in the short term.

  • Demolition of the old parking areas has now been completed.  Construction of the new replacement parking is progressing
  • The old drive is now inaccessible. Parking for the office will be in the new front parking areas with a gravel walk to the office.  Today, there is no walk way.
  • The office may need to be closed sometime in the next week to facilitate some of the driveway construction.

Watch for updates.
