Sunday to Sunday is a weekly Bible study program that is designed to evangelize and educate. The program coincides with the three-year cycle of Scripture readings used by all Catholic dioceses and most Protestant denominations in the United States.

	Sunday to Sunday is the only Lectionary-based series of its kind available from any source. Its purpose is to give viewers a deeper understanding of the Scriptures by emphasizing their relevance to contemporary life. The program is intended for broadcast during the week prior to each Mass. A typical weekly segment includes dramatic readings and reenactments of the Scripture passages, interspersed with commentary by a homilist and a panel discussion on their contemporary relevance. Segments highlighting the socio-cultural contexts of the passages are integrated into each program, as are inspirational musical performances featuring such groups as the Georgetown Chorale. To maximize opportunities for active viewer engagement, the programs are designed for participants to stop several times, so that study groups can discuss questions posed by the narrator.
