Dear Holy Spirit
Parishioner:
The peace of Christ
be with you and your loved ones.
On behalf of the people of our parish it is
my privilege to welcome you. Whether your journey to us was from another
country or another county, we are glad that God graced us with your
presence. Mobility can be a great blessing. All the glamour and excitement
that travel brings. But, it also brings its burdens. You move into a new
parish and feel like a stranger, an outsider.
But, the word
“catholic” literally means "universal”. As members of Christ’s Body, once we
are baptized we belong. So, our Faith tells us that no matter how often we
move, or how many parishes we join in our lifetime, we “belong” by right of
our baptism. So, please believe that this parish belongs as much to you as
it does to our pioneers who founded this parish in 1977.
Don’t wait to get
involved. Look at your time, talent and money. See the needs of the parish
and area. Then decide how you want to live Stewardship by sharing your time,
talent and money through the Church for the building of God’s Kingdom.
You
are not here by accident. You are here by God’s Providence. Welcome!
